Why Open Source?

Increasingly governments and corporations are attempting to deprive humanity of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  Even in such minor details as owning media (movies, music, books): Corporations are attempting to merely LEASE consumers the data, and not allow them to actually physically own it.  This is also true of hardware, software, and even people's own genetic information.

The number one way to combat this egregious overreach for profit and control is Open Source.

Open Source states that the code is available and free to all at any time, and the only restriction is that if improvements are made:  They must also be released as Open Source to the public.  This will ensure freedom for generations to come, and lower the costs of goods and services globally in the long term.
